Botanical Birthday Brunch

Hello everyone!

I am finally back after a long break (due to illness and a very long hospital stay) and I am so happy to be able to share with you an outfit post! I am still on the mend and slowly recovering, so I am definitely in my pjs more than "real" clothes but I am turning 30 this week and started off the celebrations with a birthday brunch at Bourne and Hollingsworth. My besties and I have been before and loved the food but sadly the service on this occasion was shoddy, the food was cold BUT it didn't stop us from having a lovely time and for me is was *so* good to get dolled up and to feel pretty for the day!

One of the things I have missed most about being ill and wearing lounge wear so often is the fact I haven't been able to put outfits together and play with colours, fabrics and accessories. This is one of my most favourite things and I feel like I really went for it with this look! I love the colour palette of this look and I am so glad I have finally been able to wear this gorgeous printed wiggle dress. I adore this type of dress, Asos Curve do this style in a lot of colours/prints and I think it's a great style for my shape.

I hope you enjoy these pics, there's a lot as I'm really happy with how they came out and it was nice to feel more like myself for the first time in ages!
