The #EverywearChallenge Part IV - Styling a Trench Jacket

For the final instalment of my collaboration with Marks & Spencer, I'm going to show you how I decided to style this Trench Jacket. Check my previous posts where as part of the #TheEverywearchallenge; I've styled up four basic wardrobe staples.

This lil throw-on jacket is perfect for this time of year as it's got a whole load of fancy fabric tech going on with it and it's also perfect for layering. When it warms up in London, I hate dragging round a big bulky coat! This lightweight jacket is perfect as you can throw it on over your shoulders, ram it in your bag when you don't need it or layer it under a longer coat like I did in these outfit pics.

The #EveryWearChallenge Part III - Styling the Ultimate Jean

In my previous posts, I introduced my latest collaboration with Marks and Spencer's and showed you all how I decided to style the ultimate white shirt and classic summer mules. In this third instalment I want to show you how I styled The Ultimate Jeans.

The thing I love most about a pair of jeans is the fact they are a bit of a blank canvas for you to do what ever you like with. I know jeans can also be a statement piece in your look but with a classic skinny; the world is your oyster!

M&S have a whole host of denim pieces available and these particular jeans are available in NINE colours - how good is that? I am wearing jeans from their main range (which go up to a UK22) but I will also link to their plus size options below.

I'm obsessed with the unique, tiered sleeve bardot shirt I decided to style the jeans with and I fell in love with this style of sling back shoe when I saw them in stores like Celine. I am sooooo thankful that M&S have made these flats - they are so chic don't you think?

ps... I promise I ironed the shirt in the morning!

#TheEverywearChallenge Part II - Styling The Block Mule

As part of an ongoing collaboration with M&S, I want to show you how I decided to style their classic Block Heel Mule

If you're anything like me, comfort is key when it comes to shoes and a block heel is like the godsend of heel heights in my opinion. A mule is one of those classic shoe types that will see you through every season as well as being exceptionally versatile.

Have a look here on the M&S website to see how the 4 other bloggers in this campaign, styled their mules and go ahead and pick your fave colour!

Styling Everyday Basics with #TheEverywearChallenge

My favourite thing about blogging is the variety of projects I get to work on. I love a challenge and I absolutely love building looks, so when Marks and Spencer's came to me and asked me to be part of their latest campaign, #The Everywear Challenge; how could I say no? You'll see from recent posts, I really champion M&S and it is one of my fave brands to wear. Don't believe me?... check this post, this post and this post - all featuring M&S garments.

Anyway, onto the project at hand! As part of Marks and Spencer's summer campaign, they have launched 4 key products:

 - The ultimate white shirt
- The ultimate jeans (super skinny style)
- The ultimate jacket
- The ultimate mules

The Challenge

My challenge, along with four other bloggers (which you can see here on the M&S site) was to style each of the 'Everywear' pieces into four separate outfits. I was able to style the pieces any way I wanted and had such a good time building each look. I don't know what it is, but I feel like I've always been able to put outfits together with ease. Something clicks in my head when I look at an item; I just seem to know what it could go with and that definitely happened with all four of these 'Everywear' pieces... I hope you all agree!

In this post, I show you how I styled the ultimate white shirt.

Did you know - Levi's does plus?

I remember seeing some Levi Jeans at a Navabi press day, I was excited to hear/see they were launching plus sizes but then life took over and I didn't think any more of it. Fast forward a few months and picture my delight when I spotted a whole host of Levi's on the Navabi website!

Levi's have extended their sizes (to a size 26 it seems? - I will confirm this) and there aren't just one/two pieces in the range but actually quite a few styles, including jackets and shorts.

Denim fans rejoice!

Being the nosey parker I am; I had to try a pair for myself. I picked the Levi's Shaping Plus 310 Super Skinny Jean and here's what I thought...

I am forever trying to find the perfect pair of jeans *aren't we all?* and being a 22/24 on my bottom half; I never know what jean size will fit me. I opted for a 22 and the fit is pretty good to be honest. I would love them to be even tighter than they are, seeing as they are called the "Super Skinny Jean" - some times, I like my jeans to look like they've been spray painted on!!

The denim in this particular style has a stretch to it and I like that it says that this style would suit 'pear, boyish and hourglass' shapes on the Navabi site - jeans for all body types is a must! My only grumble with this particular pair is the length of them on my 5'3 frame. Since buying them I've noticed they do "normal" and "long" lengths though so I will definitely opt for normal next time!
