Making a statement

A statement piece of jewellery can transform an entire look and take it from yay to waheyyy! I have always had an obsession with bold jewellery and although I have been drawn to smaller, more delicate necklaces of late; my earrings have stayed chunky, colourful and playful.

Here's a quick look at the four pairs that I'm wearing at the moment and also a look at the best of the rest online. Great for stocking fillers and last minute pressies!

1. White Tassel Earrings (sold out online but purple are still available) | 2. Multi Coloured Earrings | 3. Silver Moon Tassel Earrings | 4. Yellow & Black Earrings

5 Cosy Plus Size Jumpers

It's cosy jumper season! Woopie! I really love this time of year - I feel like my outfits are a bit more stylish, well put together and I absolutely love layering up.

Knitwear is a great way of keeping warm as well as looking stylish and I love a classic cable knit just as much as an embellished number.

I've put together a selection of my five fave jumpers - let me know which one is your favourite in the comments below.

1. Clements Ribeiro for Evans - I love the fun camo print on this jumper!

2. Embellished Sweatshirt from Mango - You can style this sweater for a casual day out with
boyfriend jeans or for a night out with skinny pants and heels.

3. Cable Knit from Navabi - A classic style that everyone should own.

4. Monochrome Striped Jumper from Forever21+ - Monochrome never goes out of fashion.

5. Breton Stripe Jumper with elbow patches from ASOS Curve - I am addicted to breton stripes t-shirts and I am so happy there is finally a plus size jumper version.

P.s For reference the jumper in the header picture is from H&M main range and it is a size 'L'. It would comfortably fit up to a UK22.

Monochrome Part II

Earlier this week I posted a monochrome outfit and I promised that two more looks would follow - here is look number 2 for you!

Black and white is such a classic combination and in my opinion; it suits everyone. Whether you wear a head-to-toe monochrome look or simply accessorise with the two colours; there are SO many ways you can wear this timeless trend.

With so many trends coming in and out of fashion; sometimes it is nice to have some staple pieces in your wardrobe that you can always rely on. You all know that I am currently addicted to the 70s trend but I often find I tend to lean towards a black and white outfit if I need to look well put together but with minimal effort.

I've chosen a loose fitted striped dress and as it is unseasonably warm at the moment, a light weight jacket that is ever so easy to throw on. Even though it is raining a lot at the moment, it is really humid so I am still finding I can get away with bare legs - even though you need an umbrella most days! The *joy* of British weather ey! I have just bought the tan version of these peep toe heels because they are super comfortable!
