Grayscale

Ever since that size S dreamy, pink neoprene jacket made it's way into my wardrobe I now check Boohoo's main range for jackets as it just goes to show you; you shouldn't always take notice of what the label says. Whilst I was perusing the online "rails" I spotted this grey neoprene biker jacket and I thought I'd give it a go in a size L and low and behold it fits. I like how the style is a nod to the standard biker jacket that many of us live in during the winter months but the material and colour make it just that little bit different. The material is stiff and thick *sniggers* and is going to be perfect when it gets even colder. I also like that the sleeves are 3/4 length as when I wear jackets I tend to roll the sleeves up anyway.

The grey floral dress is a little cutie don't you think? It's from Alice and You available from ASOS and I think it's the fourth or fifth Alice and You item I own. They constantly bring out cute items as well as more trend led ones, that baby blue pvc skirt I have is made by them... I love that bad boy! I sized up in this dress by one size and I'm happy I did as sometimes shift styles can be a little clingy on my belly. It's made out of scuba fabric so my outfit today would be perfect if I wanted to fling myself around as I'd just bounce of everything and not feel a thing... oh man I feel like I'm chatting utter nonsense today!

I fully committed myself to the all grey theme today but thought I'd add a pop of colour so I accessorised with a chartreuse coloured bag (old H&M) and these two colours are one of my fave combos. The boots are wide fit New Look jobbies (no longer available) and I'm wearing tights from M&S.

Bath time

I headed to the beautiful city of Bath with some of my girlfriends for a hen do and just had the best weekend ever. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. There is nothing better than being with your friends, people who love you and spending quality time with them.

I was so busy having a good time that I didn't document my outfits through out the weekend apart from the last day. Here's a little shot of what I wore. We went for such a nice lunch and then I had to travel home to devon and this Alice and You swing dress was such a comfortable option. The jacket was from ASOS and has sadly sold out but I've added some other styles below incase you want to recreate this look. I can't tell you how comfy these high heeled plimsolls are. I am off to buy another pair as they are in the sale and are dead cheap now! As they are canvas, do you reckon you can put them in the washing machine?

Leopard swing

On the last day of my trip to Amsterdam I knew we would be doing a fair bit of wandering round the city and then flying home late at night. This called for a super comfy outfit and in my opinion a swing dress means you look nicely turned out but with minimal effort.

Due to packing restrictions you'll notice I wore the same boots/jacket/clutch for most of the holiday but I'm glad all the looks still managed to look different enough.

Please excuse the grainy pictures, we took them towards the end of the day when the light wasn't too good.

Dress - ASOS Curve
Boots - old Topshop
Clutch - My Mums
Jacket - old F+F Tesco
I bought the dress from ASOS Curve and the brand is called Alice and You. I've not bought anything from those guys before but I was really impressed with the quality and price point of this dress so I will definitely keep an eye on them in the future.  The fabric is SO soft, like a light velvet and I'm a sucker for packaging and I loved the tags that came with the dress. I bought my usual size (UK20)

Are you a fan of the swing styles that are EVERYWHERE now or do they make you feel like you're wearing a tent?
